Date of birth: 19 Sep 1964

Biography

Stefaan Dondeyne was born in 1964 in Kinshasa, Congo. His main interests are in rural development and participatory research in relation to natural resources and water management.

Since 2005, he has been working in Mozambique; first as an advisor for the Centre of Sustainable Development for Natural Resources, later as an ecologist in the Chimanimani Transfrontier Conservation Area, where he contributed to the elaboration of the management plan.

He is currently a post-doctoral research fellow at the Catholic University of Leuven, Belgium.
