Description of the genus

Annual herbs with compound pinnate leaves and filiform ultimate segments. Umbels compound, bracts and bracteoles obsolete. Sepals absent, petals yellow, with strongly incurved apices. Fruit elliptical, strongly dorsi-ventrally compressed, with some development of lateral wings.

Worldwide: Species 1 in arm temperate and tropical regions.

Zimbabwe: 1 cultivated taxon.
